1.500 ping pong balls and some liquid nitrogen make science fun
Dr. Roy Lowry of the University of Plymouth carried a small scientific exercise to show students how science can be fun, if you have the knowledge to implement it.
The experiment was to show the properties of liquid nitrogen and how it works the pressure of the gas emanating from it. Pouring a bit of nitrogen in a bottle of soda has a potential time bomb, while Bottle closures not all good but if you close it, you better run … and fast.
Before viewing the video please remember: Do not try this at home, the doctor knows his stuff.
