10000 times fail to reduce consumption of the storage units
The industry is working in parallel in many research focused on significantly increasing the Storage capacity of current hard disk drives and solid ( AAMR , SMR, HAMR , Patterned Media , 3D Towers , among others) as well as alternative means as storage units atomic , uranium , bacterial and even DNA .

Geoffrey Beach and a team of scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of technology (MIT) have developed a very thin ferromagnetic films (composed of an alloy of tantalum), capable of reversing the magnetic polarity (or magnetic domain) of the patterns in the platinum plate upon application of electricity.
