The lid is covered with Gorilla Glass scratch resistant for a touch more elegant. The processors will be updated Intel Haswell , from Core i3 to Core i7 as consumer tastes, plus a larger battery of 47 Wh, rather than the 35 Wh Aspire Current S7. According to Acer, with this the team will have seven hours of power, 33% more than before. Fans also changed, under the promise that they will be less noisy. The team will sell from USD $ 1,400 in U.S.
Meanwhile, Aspire S3 changed slightly the design to look more at S7, although not included in the lid Gorilla Glass. It is also heavier, instead of 1.67 kg of 1.3 kg of S7. The ratio of the weight would be in some additional components such as an NVIDIA GT735M optional, and 1TB of storage.
The S3 also use Haswell processors, and touchscreen IPS display is 1080p. The company said in a statement it will sell from $ 999 in Europe, no details on the price in the U.S.
