Acer Aspire ultrabooks officially launches new touchscreen S7
Some months ago, as part of the technology fair Computex 2012, Acer showed its new equipment Aspire timidly S7 , Ultrabooks that bring the novelty of integrating a touchscreen to control freely operating system Windows 8. Back then, there were no further details of the offer that prepares the company, but now it’s official launch and we have all the information.
The Aspire S7 come in two variants, a model with 11.6-inch screen and a 13.3 “IPS panels both high definition 1920 x 1080 resolution, touch support up to ten simultaneous points and cover Gorilla glass Glass 2. Moreover, with a thickness of 1.2 cm and weight of 1.03 kg, the smallest model of the S7 Aspire laptop comes as the thinnest touchscreen planet.
In terms of design and manufacture, we used a polished aluminum housing body for the team, under the chassis integrating two fans spinning at 10,000 rpm to cool the hardware. Also noteworthy is the presence of backlit keyboard, and a video output microHDMI with adapter including Acer from this format to VGA for free.
According to customer preference, found inside intel Core i5 or i7 low voltage, surprising the possibility of integrating not one, but up to two solid state drives (SSD) for mass storage, can be configure in RAID 0 to duplicate the performance of these devices and fast.
When will they be available? On October 26, coinciding with the release of Windows 8 , coming operating system preinstalled Acer factory in S7. The 11.6-inch model will be worth USD $1,199, while the 13.3-inch will sell for $ 1399.
