A few months ago it was discovered that AMD was planning to launch some new members of its family of microprocessors FX-Series of 1 generation , including the amd FX-6120, microprocessor has quietly made its appearance in the OEM market.
Microprocessor AMD FX-6120 is based on the core zambezi (Bulldozer micro-architecture) and consists of three modules (six integer processing units and three floating point units) running at 3.6GHz (a between 3.8 to 4.0GHz in Core Turbo mode), 8MB of L3 and a TDP of 95W. Like other microprocessors Zambezi, is compatible with am3+ socket motherboards.
The microprocessor has been discovered on HP’s website, and although it has not revealed exact pricing, we assume that will be priced somewhere between that of the FZ-6100 (U.S. $139) and FX-6200 (U.S. $159).
