AMD introduces its new microprocessors FX-8300 and FX-6350

Recent microprocessors second generation AMD FX “Vishera” were initially comprised of four models: FX-8350, FX-8320, FX-6300 and FX-4300, those who today joined the new and FX-6350.

AMD FX-8300
comprised four modules (each consisting in turn of two integer processing units “ALUs” and a floating point unit “Flex-FP”) running at 3.3GHz (Turbo Mode to 4.2GHz), 8MB L2 and 8MB L3, its TDP is 95W. Like other is compatible with socket + motherboard.

AMD FX-6350
Microprocessor Piledriver consisting of three modules (each consisting in turn of two integer processing units “ALUs” and a floating point unit “Flex-FP”) running at 3.9GHz (Turbo Mode to 4.2GHz), 6MB L2 and 8MB L3, its TDP is 125W. Like other Vishera CPU is compatible with socket AM3 + motherboard.

AMD FX-8140
Alongside these two new microprocessors, comes also a new member of the CPU first generation FX “Zambezi”: the new FX-8140, which consists of four bulldozer modules (each consisting in turn of two processing units integer “ALUs” and a floating point unit “Flex-FP”) running at 3.2GHz (Turbo Mode to 4.1GHz), 8MB L2 and 8MB L3, its TDP is 95W. Like other CPU is compatible with socket AM3 + motherboard.
