AMD makes the Radeon 7990 show with five monitors running Tomb Raider # CTX2013

At Computex 2013, it seems that the manufacturers do not want to be left behind their competitors. We all know that the two largest manufacturers of GPUs, Nvidia and compete to achieve the best GPU market, which favors the gamers, always asking for a little more speed and image quality.

At Computex, AMD decided to show the public, a stunning setting, and not by the number of monitors as with exuberant demonstration Sapphire, who wanted to make an impact by running three cards Sapphire FirePro W9000, with 18 monitors . AMD wanted to show rather that the “Malta” can run any game requiring resources in eyefinity 5, and do so smoothly. For this occasion, chose one of the year’s most popular games: Tomb Raider.

AMD would not reveal the complete configuration of your system, but at least AMD said components used. So we have: An AMD FX-8350, 8GB DDR3 AMD, series, designed for gaming, running 1866MHz, and a single video card, Radeon HD “Malta” (dual-GPU). Five monitors were used Full HD, for a total resolution of 5400 × 1920.

One might ask, why not put together a AMD setup eyefinity 6, if this card can endure. The most likely answer would be that with six screens, and a loss would be noticeable FPS level, at least in the eyes of gamers demanding advised while five monitors, judging by the video, runs like a charm. AMD did not indicate how many FPS running with this configuration.

Here for the video. Judge for yourself. We recommend selecting Youtube 1080p resolution, to appreciate it better.
