AMD plans to launch Trinity 2.0 during the first half of 2013

A few months ago released their new versions and Ultrathins laptop and for desktop OEMs , but the version for desktop retail (general retail) is expected to make its appearance with the launch of the new system Microsoft Windows 8.

From SemiAccurate report that AMD is planning to launch during the first half of next year a new review of APU Trinity, known provisionally as the Trinity 2.0, which, like the APU Brazos 2.0 , may consist of a chip with some optimizations the manufacturing process to 32nm focused to support higher frequencies in both the CPU and the GPU, to provide a higher productivity than the strongest Trinity APU existing at that time, but at the same time, offering a slightly lower consumption.

It is presumed that this future will face the also future Intel Haswell, which will have a massive IGP. 2.0 Trinity will be a kind of prelude to the future APU Kavery (based on micro-architecture Core Graphics graphics Steamroller and Next), which will make an appearance during the second half of 2013 and will use the same sockets that Trinity, which will facilitate the update to holders of the APU-based computers Trinity / Trinity 2.0.
