AMD Radeon HD 7970 GHz makes its appearance with new prices for Radeon HD 7900

GHz AMD Radeon HD 7970 makes its appearance with new prices for Radeon HD 7900

If there’s something I have to criticize is Nvidia and launches policy of GPUs and products based on them, arriving long after they are distributed versions sent to the press, policy in the hardware world know as paper launches.

AMD took this to a new level with its Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition , which was released in paper on 22 June this year, and finally for the last few days are available the first video card based on the new GPU ship AMD logo, which unlike traditional launched late last year, incorporates faster memory (1500MHz vs 1250MHz traditional version), higher clocks (925MHz vs. 1000MHz), and Boost PowerTune technology for hardware (1050MHz frequency increases in demanding applications).

The recent Availability of late but video cards based on Radeon HD 7970 GPU GHz AMD Edition, brings new prices on the entire line of Radeon series GPUs, which although recently had some price cuts (today its microprocessors also premiere new and lower prices ), now cut prices further:

  • GHz AMD Radeon HD 7970 Edition: From U.S. $429 (MSRP starting at $499).
  • AMD Radeon HD 7970 3GB: From U.S. $409 (before from U.S. $419).
  • AMD Radeon 3GB: From U.S. $299 (before from U.S. $319).

Note: Prices based on Newegg.

These new prices become more attractive than ever to the Radeon HD 7900 Series and somehow make us forget the criticism of his late availability.
