AMD Radeon HD 7970M tested

Almost a month ago AMD officially launched its new Radeon HD 7000M GPU architecture-based Core Graphics Next for laptops (notebooks). From Tom’s Hardware comes a of the (Wimbledon XT “Pitcairn XT”).

The Radeon HD 7970M is based on the core (version for desktop or GPU “Radeon HD 7870″) and has 1280 shader processors running at 850MHz, 80 texture units, 32 ROPs, and 2048MB of memory GDDR5 256-bit bus running at 1200MHz.
