AMD Releases Catalyst 12.11 Drivers Beta 11
Today amd brings their new drivers (drivers) Catalyst 12.11 Beta 11, which come with a number of corrections to errors found in previous versions, as well as performance improvements focused on recently released Far Cry 3 .
Alongside new 12.11 Beta Catalyst 11, the new profiles also come Catalyst Application Profiles 2 (CAP2), which operate in conjunction to provide a 25% higher yield in the Far Cry 3 compared with the previous controllers Beta Catalyst 12.11 8 (up to 25% with 8xMSAA + SSAO and up to 15% with 8xMSAA + HDAO in 1600P resolution).
Besides the new drivers solve some errors found in previous versions as some sporadic instabilities of the Radeon hd 7000 Series GPUs running under the Intel X58 and X79, instabilities detected in Catalyst 12.11 Beta 8 for Linux, among others.
The new drivers are compatible with Linux operating systems, windows 7 and 8, and video cards AMD Radeon HD 5000, hd 6000 and HD 7000 Series. You can download them from the AMD site. Users with the game Far Cry 3 should also download CAP2 to improve game performance when using filters.
