AMD releases its Catalyst driver 6.12 WHQL Legacy
Late last month vowed to launch new AMD drivers for their Radeon HD GPUs DirectX 10/10.1 2000/3000/4000 Series , a promise that was fulfilled two weeks after the launch of the Beta Catalyst drivers 12.6 Legacy, but certainly a beta driver no left many satisfied users.
But you have to wait long for amd finally launches certified drivers for your old pre-DirectX 11 GPUs, and AMD has quietly released new drivers certified by Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL) for its GPUs and IGPs Radeon hd 2000/3000/4000 series both PCIe and AGP versions.
Unfortunately AMD does not report errors which are corrected with these new drivers or if they add some new functionality, we assume that bring no improvement was not present in 6.12 Beta Catalyst drivers Legacy released two weeks ago, whose only improvement was greater stability of the controller.
The new drivers can be downloaded from the AMD website.
