AMD support Drivers with Frame Pacing will be released this July 31
A few months ago amd showed its future improvements to drivers with Frame Pacing provided their multi-GPU configurations, both external modes (2/3/4-Way CrossFireX) and internal (video card dual-GPU as Radeon HD 7990 “Malta” or “New Zealand”, Radeon HD 6990 “Antilles” and Radeon HD 5970 “Hemlock”).
But unfortunately these drivers are not available for download. AMD since Twitter has confirmed that these new drivers with support for Frame Pacing, make their appearance on Wednesday July 31.
Frame Pacing is the name of a new technique of alternating frames, designed to improve continuity in the deployment of cadres, mitigating the micro-tatamudeo (micro-stuttering) and offering a gaming experience much more fluid.
These new drivers will arrive on July 31, presumably in Beta state, but fully functional, and later make an appearance in versions certified.
