ASCII Street View, a crazy way to explore the world

allows us to see in great detail some of the sites in the world, and gradually ceases to be new. But what if we give a retro look to the world? This is what I try the ASCII Street View , which converts images to in real time.

The project was programmed by Peter Nitsch and allows you to find an address and navigate it in colorful characters and zoom in and zoom out. It’s pretty amazing. To view it requires Chrome, Firefox 8 or another browser that supports WebGL CORS textures.
