Asus announces the VivoPC, your HTPC with Windows 8
On the eve of computex asus also announced a lot of products that reach the shelves soon. One of these is the new VivoPC, a PC for use as an entertainment center that features Windows 8 and quite attractive compact design.
Specifications such as processor, RAM, hard disk space or not disclosed. Asus merely give details of the connectivity and sound technology. The VivoPC features Wi-Fi a / b / g / n / ac, Ethernet, HDMI, optical (audio), VGA port, audio input and output, two USB 3.0 ports and four USB 2.0 ports, as well as a SD card reader.
At the sound the VivoPC SonicMaster features integrated speakers that offer “high quality sound”. The manufacturer said VivoPC has been designed to be easily updated. This means that by simply raising the back cover can change the RAM or the hard drive.
To complete the package, Asus also announced VivoMouse a wireless mouse that features a round trackpad supports multitouch gestures for Windows 8. The release date for both has not been confirmed, only know that the VivoPC (and probably also the mouse) will arrive between July and September 2013.
