Announced at Transformer Trio Book a pretty interesting device type “to take three, pay one,” that transforms from laptop to tablet and desktop computer. Perhaps most striking is that changes to Jelly Bean.

The 11.6-inch screen can be detached to operate as a tablet with Android, while the base operates with Windows 8. As both operating systems are running simultaneously in different parts of the hardware, you can switch from one operating system to another quickly.

The screen is full HD 1920 × 1080 and runs on an Atom SoC (Z2580) 2 GHz, while the base includes an extra battery, full keyboard and more ports. At the bottom we find an Intel Core i7 Haswell.

Asus said the delivers up to 15 hours of battery life, has a 750 GB storage in the base, and the tablet includes a 64GB SSD. The price and availability date are still a mystery.
