Asus Zenbook Prime UX21A at first sight
Continuing with the teams that are released with Windows 8, I came across the asus Zenbook Prime UX21A, a team with a very long name and weird, but that calls for immediate attention for its manufacture. It is covered with brushed aluminum lid that is circular in shape, which gives it a very sleek industrial style.
The underside is lighter in color, also metal, and generally building the team is very, very solid.
This is not the type Zenbook transformable, so what we have is more of a touchscreen ultrabook. I say ultrabook because inside the team brings an Intel Core i7 or Core i5 Ivy Bridge, with Intel HD 4000 graphics and 4GB of RAM, and a 256 SSD. The device weighs 1.1 kilos, so it is very light.
The 11.6-inch screen is very bright and looks extremely well. Addition is touch, so that you can use to get to the menus and functions touch that brings Windows 8.
Meanwhile, the keyboard is comfortably spaced keys and is backlit. Additionally, the trackpad recognizes gestures, which makes it possible to access menus of Windows 8 also in this way (a swipe from the right to the center opens the right menu, and swipe from above or the left provides access to other options).
For connectors, the Zenbook comes with two USB 3.0 ports, micro HDMI, mini VGA and SD card slot. Overall, this Asus model is very well built and it is definitely an option and perhaps more practical to use traditional Windows 8, although it can not become a tablet. Unfortunately the price is around $ 1,500 USD praise, but touch screens will probably not be cheap to some time.
