At the age of 96 dies Eugene Polley, inventor of TV remote control
On Sunday May 20 eugene Polley died, inventor of one of the most widely used electronic devices around the world, the remote control for TV , definitely a device beloved by millions thanks to his invaluable help in the “difficult” task of seeing television.
It was the device called “Flash-Matic”, created in 1955 and which we can see from the pictures, looking more an arm of a remote future, however, through its role to change channels or adjust the volume of the program as the location pointed to where the “gun”.
