Audi shows electronic bicycle
Technology applied to modern bicycles the athlete makes life easier, but it shows Audi just makes life easier. This bike, considered the future of e-bikes, called Worthersee, has connectivity with smartphones, a computer and an electric motor.
The frame is made of carbon fiber that weighs just 1.6 kilograms, the electric motor 5 kilos is connected to a Li-Ion batteries that are recharged in 2.5 hours as fraud and, along with your powerful legs can reach speeds is up to 80 kilometers per hour.
The onboard computer has a screen attached to the handle that gives you information such as the speed at which you, distance, angle of slope and other electrical functions among which even provides assistance on a running wheel.
Unfortunately this is only a prototype so we do not know when it could start mass production and if so, how much would it cost.
Audi focused much of the design and functions of this prototype in people who tend to exercise, but if you’re not in that group, with the Worthersee sure makes you want to start today.
