Bing presents content in slides to complement search results
Microsoft goes ahead with Bing, trying to innovate in the presentation of Search results to compete with Google. The last experiment is the “Bing panels” or “Bing Boards”. It is a visual collection of images and videos are presented in a slide show in the sidebar, along with other features of the browser.
The content of the slides is selected by a small group of bloggers contacted by Microsoft, they are testing the function, which in the future could be expanded so that more people participate by creating their own panels.
The Redmond company has been integrating more deeply Bing on Windows 8.1 and mobile, and innovative features could attract more interest among potential users.
