Biostar Motherboards Pure Hi-Fi Test
biostar known manufacturer of motherboards, some time ago announced its new line of motherboards Pure Hi-Fi , which promised a high sound quality. From TechPowerUp we get a couple of reviews testing Biostar claims.
TechPowerUp analyzed Biostar motherboards Z77X Hi-Fi (socket LGA 1155) and Hi-Fi A85W (socket FM2), both based on the integrated audio codec realtek (ALC889 and ALC892 respectively) and accompanied by Pure technology Hi-Fi Biostar, which involves the construction of improvements on the motherboard PCB (four-layer design noise-blocking multi-layer PCB), aimed to provide the best possible audio quality.
Audio tests were conducted with the utility RightMark Audio Analyzer, and they reflect somewhat higher results than those obtained by other motherboards based on the same audio codecs used in integrated Realtek two Biostar motherboards tested Pure Hi-Fi , although TechPowerUp comment that this test does not do justice to technology, it heard the sound quality seems to be higher than that obtained in the test.
