Borderlands 2 tested with 20 video cards
Borderlands 2, the next installment in Gearbox and sponsored TWIMTBP Nvidia program was launched a few days ago, and from PC Games Hardware bring us a very thorough review, where they analyze their performance with a total of 20 different video cards generations.
For this analysis used 20 video cards based on multiple GPUs from Nvidia and amd among which are as old as GPUs geforce 9800GT, Geforce GTX 260, Radeon HD 3870, Radeon HD 4870 to modern GPUs such as GeForce GTX 680 and Radeon HD 7970 GHz Edition. They were tested with their latest certified graphics drivers.
Without further ado, here are some of their test:
We appreciate that the game asks more than 512MB of graphics memory, so we recommend a video card with at least 768MB of graphics memory to enjoy this title. We also see that even older GPUs like the Radeon HD 4870 can move comfortably sustained a frame rate above 30 fps, even using graphics filters to Full-HD 1080p resolution.
We recommend reviewing the full review in PC Games Hardware.
