Campus Party Mexico will bet to Startups
The fourth edition of Campus Party in Mexico has a mission that has almost become the standard of the event: Startups support to reach their goal and encourage the growth of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the country to take advantage all the technological tools at their fingertips. This was announced by Francisco Ragageles, cofounder of Campus Party, who in a press conference stressed the importance of young entrepreneurs in transforming industries and the country.
“The Importance of Campus Party is in its ‘buffs’. This young talent is changing everything. So this year, the goal of the event goes a little further, because we believe that this new generation is turning to business and industry should be helped to grow more and run more. Our clear objective in this fourth edition of Campus Party is to help technology Startups in the country. “
Also Ragageles announced that this year’s event will feature a free space open to 300 entrepreneurs to receive guidance, meet people according to their ideas and to finance their projects to begin to market their products in the most suitable.
“We will have an open area called Open Campus to support Small and Medium Enterprises and Startups. Within this area there are two very important areas dedicated: Startups & Makers Camp designed to help SMEs and Startups 100 most promising technology in the country to have more capital, better talent and they can market their products. “
Campus Party will consist of 523 hours of content and will feature four personalities who give lectures and share their experiences with the ‘buffs’. These characters are Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the moon, Nolan Bushnell, founder of Atari video games; Maickel Melamed, motivational and professional speaker, and Luis von Ahn, creator of Duolingo a free language learning platform.
The 8000 event will bring together participants from different states of the country with a thousand people confirmed the state of Jalisco, but also expected the presence of a large number of Latin Americans from the central part of South America. The fourth edition of Campus Party will be held from July 30 to August 4 at Expo Santa Fe, Mexico City.
