China is the country that most uses Twitter
Twitter is part of the 2600 sites that are blocked by the local government in China, following its policy of Internet censorship. Despite this, an analyst firm showed that this area is where the Social Network is more popular around the world, scoring a total of 35.5 million active users in the last three months just past.
In the list followed by India (33 million), U.S. (22.9 million) and Brazil (19.6 million), ranking below Mexico, the UK, Argentina and Spain. Note that “active users” refers to people who have used the service at least once during the past 30 days.
Long time ago that Twitter is blocked in China, where the service is accessible only through tricks that fool the ISP to think being accessed from another country, because you can not directly, which limits the number of people who can do it at a lower figure what could be if it was freely available, as some technical knowledge necessary to enter through a VPN (virtual private network) or proxy.
