Chinese government is building its own Netflix
China is known to copy everything that is successful. And Netflix does not escape the clutches of the pseudo-sleeping dragon.
The Chinese government announced that it intends to implement its own platform hire audiovisual content via streaming. This is partnering with a Chinese company called Jiaflix Enterprises. while the service is controlled by China Movie Channel (owned).
The idea is that the subscription does not cost more than $ 10 and have a service like Netflix. But as the production of TV movies and China is not enough (since surely the Chinese achieved by alternative means) also want to add content West Hollywood specifically (as a content that is achieved in China by alternative means but not as simple).
U.S. companies to join this project will profit from it. For now Paramount Pictures has already signed, MGM is concerned and Columbia Pictures. And what is the Chinese market certainly be adding many more companies to the list of Netflix / Jianflix Chinese government.
