Confirmed! Cloverview Atom is faster and has a lower power than Tegra 3
A few days ago very few gave credit to Intel’s statements proclaiming his superiority to Tegra 3, saying Cloverview is faster and consumes half , statements are confirmed in tests conducted by Anandtech.
Anandtech those devoted two articles to check dense myths about supestamente very poor efficiency and high consumption of Intel’s atom chips compared to arm SoC; evaluated under various performance tests and the recent consumption SoC intel Atom Z2760 “Cloverview” against known some ARM SoC, including Nvidia Tegra 3 SoC.
Tests confirm that Tegra 3 Cloverview defeats both in performance and consumption, although it is noteworthy that Tegra 3 is based on the old core ARM Cortex-A9 (announced in late 2007 ), but still has a long evolutionary path to reach Cortex-A15 and Cortex-A57.
