CPU Intel Core i7-3970X arrives November 16
For some months now we know that Intel is preparing its new microprocessor-3970X Core i7 “Sandy Bridge-E” , which will become its new flagship of its line of microprocessors, providing the highest performance.
The intel core i7-3970X is based on the Sandy Bridge-E core, manufactured with the 32nm manufacturing process Intel, consists of six cores running at 3.3GHz (4.0GHz in Turbo mode), and thanks to its HyperThreading technology is capable of running 12 threads of processing. Among its other features have 15MB of L3, integrated DDR3 memory controladore quad channel, and a TDP of 150W. It supports socket lga 2011 motherboards.
This new chip will make its appearance within a few days (November 16 this year) and is expected to have a price of around U.S. $ 1,000.
