Creative Labs releases new beta drivers for your Audigy cards 1/2/4/Live 24
If there’s something that many users criticized Creative Labs, the company that once lead the way when it comes to audio for PCs, was their poor after sales support in the development of drivers.
But, in recent times, creative labs try to erase this bad image of the minds of its members working hard to support the new operating system Microsoft Windows 8, including products with over a decade of existence in the market, effort you just have to recognize that is commendable.
For some time know that Creative Labs is working on new drivers for Windows 8 for their sound card X-Fi Series and higher . From Necacom report that Creative Labs is also working on new drivers for its ancient (but still excellent) sound cards sound blaster Live 24-bit and Audidy, audigy 2 and Audigy 4 Series, which will be available in a few weeks.
For now have posted Beta drivers for these sound cards, which can be downloaded from the website of Necacom, or the Creative Labs site:
Yesterday I was testing the Beta driver for Windows 8 on an old Audigy 4, and so far has behaved quite stable and offer better audio quality than the generic drivers that come with Windows 8.
