CTX2012: The first tablet with APU AMD and Windows 8

CTX2012: The first tablet with APU AMD and Windows 8

The second generation AMD APUs Trinity reaches the tablets in 2012 technology fair taking place this week, with the help of a prototype model made by the manufacturer that while will not debut in stores in the short term, shows that it is possible to create a mobile product with this internal hardware platform and operating system Windows 8.

This is a team whose thickness is 20mm, has a touch screen of 11.6 inches and 1366 x 768, with an a6 series which was not specified whether it is a A6-4400m dual core 2.7GHz and 7520G HD graphics or A6-4455M also a dual-core 2.1GHz HD 7500G graphics. It can also be anchored to a physical keyboard with a trackpad dock station, becoming almost a notebook.

This is certainly an interesting preview at a party where Intel and Windows 8 have been the stars, peering over the horizon APUs and that although they lack road to enter the market, have much to say about to laptops and ultra-thin.
