Details of new Intel Core i7 “Ivy Bridge-E” Core i7/i3 “Haswell-DT”

Yesterday we learned that Intel plans to introduce new members to its family of microprocessor socket LGA 201 and LGA 1150 , and from TechPowerUp we get the first details of some of them.

First we have the new Extreme Edition third generation “Ivy Bridge-E”, which are based on the microarchitecture and incorporate a memory controller DDR3-1866 Quad Channel. All have unlocked multiplier.

It was unclear the prices that will be released these new microprocessors.

It is worth mentioning that the new Core will be the replacement for the recently released Core i7-4770, but both products will coexist for some time, before the latter is discontinued, becoming one of the products with shorter life .
