Died Amar G. Bose, the creator of the speakers and headphones Bose
The pioneer of many technologies in sound and based manufacturer of high-fidelity equipment that bears his name, Amar Gopal Bose , died today at the age of 83 years without informing the causes of death.
Bose founded the company in 1964 when he served as professor of electrical engineering at MIT, where he had previously obtained his doctorate and continued teaching until 2011 (his last videotaped course is available at MIT ).
In fact, the first product line of Bose 901 speakers were designed when Bose bought a high-fidelity speakers in 1956 and found them so mediocre that should create their own while still working on his doctoral thesis.
But “he was first and foremost a teacher. I can not count the number of times people have approached me to tell me he did not know that my father was the best teacher I had had, and how making the 6.01 course (Introduction to Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) had changed life, “said the son of Amar G.
