Dropbox already surpassed 100 million users
The company’s cloud storage, Dropbox, said Tuesday that surpassed 100 million users, quadrupling the amount they had last year, and attributed its rapid growth to more consumers and small businesses raise their personal and work documents Internet.
“Even 100 million is a small percentage of the number of people we could reach,” said Drew Houston, one of the founders of the company.
Definitely a huge milestone for a startup that is competing at the same height of giants like Google, Microsoft, Apple and Amazon. “These companies are busy trying to create something that we had four years ago,” said Houston, who says that its main advantage is that they are trying to protect any other product, because its primary mission is to offer people a service that can be used from any device at any time, independent “logo on the back of the computer or device.”cloud storage, dropbox, Startups
