Facebook presents results better than expected in the third quarter
Facebook presented its results for the third quarter, reporting higher than expected sales, which seems to have gone up the mood among investors.
Positive numbers are on the side of sales, up from 36% in ad revenue, reaching USD $ 1,090 million in advertising. Overall, sales increased 32% to $ 1,260 million.

- At September 30, 2012 there were 604 million active mobile users, 61% more than the same time last year.
- Monthly active users reached 1,010 million at September 30, 2012, 26% more than a year ago.
- Active users reached 584 million daily on average in September this year, 28% more than the same month of 2011.
