Filter the roadmap CPUs / APUs AMD for desktop 2013
From Donanim Haber bring us the amd product roadmap for desktop for the next year (2013), where we see the products that AMD has prepared, where unfortunately there are not many surprises. The two new products from AMD for 2013 will be:
The replacement of existing Trinity APU, apparently this apu will have few changes regarding Trinity, the only differences being: to be manufactured with the 28nm manufacturing process, and with some improvements in IGP GPU accelerated computing, based Cores in Radeon 2.0 (VLIW4), so we can assume that either have a greater number of shader processors, or focused on some performance optimizations.
Be compatible with existing socket fm2 motherboards.
The replacement of existing Brazos 2.0 APU, the Kabini APU will be based http://www.chw.net/2012/10/se-filtran-algunos-detalles-del-futuro-apu-kabini-de-amd/ Jaguar microarchitecture and will have up to four cores Jaguar, AMD Radeon graphics and northbridge / southbridge integrated, which makes for a SoC (System on Chip).
Desktop socket am3+
Apparently recent microprocessors second generation AMD FX will be maintained for the next year, so his successor could come in early 2014.
If true this roadmap could in some way validate the many rumors about the postponement of AMD products based on micro-architecture Steamroller, which is expected by the end of next year.
