There is nothing more annoying than being in the middle of lunch, the phone rings and on the other side of the line you say, “Hi, I’m the candidate XYZ” or a recording will provide a great product. Therefore, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) of the United States is offering a reward of $ 50,000 for whoever presents a solution to identify and block these types of calls.
The ftc banned in 2009 telemarketing calls, however, that has not stopped the continued existence, because it is difficult to block. According to the challenge presented by the organization, the product must be able to block both calls to landlines and cell phones, and can operate on proprietary platforms or not. The competition will be accepted proposals, solutions and prototypes, and the winner will get a reward of $50,000, plus a trip to Washington DC, where you present your product.
The ideas reception starts seven days. The evaluation criteria will focus on whether “work” (50%), “easy to use” (25%) and “can be implemented” (25%).
It would certainly be a very useful tool, an inventor can expect to find the key.
