GeForce GTX 680 tested on a CPU AMD Athlon X2 5000 +

The most powerful tested on an old microprocessor.

From Expreview bring us a very interesting review which tested at a video card based on the Nvidia GPU, which was tested in an old microprocessor based computer AMD X2 5000+.

The old computer has the following configuration:

  • Microprocessor AMD Athlon X2 5000 + (2.6GHz).
  • Motherboard ASUS M3N-HT Deluxe (780th).
  • 4GB (2x2GB) Corsair Memory DDR2-800.

Additionally tested a microprocessor based computer Intel Core i7-3820 (3.6GHz), to which both comparative manner tested as underclockeado predetermined frequency to 2.6GHz. Without further ado, here are some of their test:

Not surprisingly, the loss of of the GTX 680 is very noticeable in the old AMD Athlon X2 5000 +, but certainly the most notable is the significant reduction in the performance of Core i7-3820 2.6GHz underclockeado to, loss is linked to the high dependence of CPU architecture Kepler Nvidia, because as many know, this has a scheduler based on software that runs on the CPU.
