Gigabyte and Quanta show their SoC based tablets AMD A4-1200 “Temash” # CTX2013
Since the event computex 2013, gigabyte and quanta show its first Tablet hybrid / convertible based on the recently released soc AMD A4-1200 “Temash” , the smaller and more efficient (3.9W TDP) of new AMD SoC.
On the side we have the Tablet Gigabyte Hybrid S10A 10 “(image at the top of this article) equipped with a 500GB hard drive (Gigabyte has not yet revealed the rest of its specifications) and preloaded with the operating system Microsoft Windows 8 and the office suite Microsoft Office Home 2013.
Quanta showed a prototype of what will be its future hybrid Tablet 11.6 “(Full-HD 1080P) equipped with 128GB solid state storage, 3G/LTE connectivity. They can appreciate it in the video below, although premature given the Tablet, shows some inconsistencies that must be resolved in the final version:
The AMD A4-1200 SoC “Temash” which are based both Tablet, jaguar has two cores running at 1GHz, Integrated Graphics AMD Radeon HD 8180 (128 shader processors Graphics Core Next), a controller DDR3L-1066 memory, and chipset integrated USB 3.0 support.
It is expected that these and SoC devices based on AMD Temash begin trading during the last half of this year (July to December).
