Gigabyte introduces the world’s lightest Ultrabook
Despite being scheduled to launch in computex 2012 event next week, gigabyte was ahead of the leaks that were appearing and showed his new ultrabook X11, which boasts of being the lightest in the world.
The model has a 11.6 inch screen (1366 — 768) and weighs 975 grams, being powered by intel Core ivy bridge third generation, 4GB of RAM, integrated graphics and 128GB HD 4000 Storage SSD ( SSD), together with integration of USB 3.0, Mini DisplayPort, and Bluetooth 4.0.
In addition to light, the team is very thin: 3mm at its thinnest point and 16.5mm at the thickest, being made of carbon fiber and aluminum. These features add a little high economic value to the model, because despite being unconfirmed, is said to cost between $ 1000 and $ 1300 USD depending on the configuration.
