Google announces new economic Chromebooks based Cortex-A15

Today announced their new Chromebooks (notebooks with Chrome OS operating system) economic, which come with attractive suggested prices of $249 and $329.

Both models have a display manufactured by 11.6 “(1366 X 768) and are based on the soc Samsung Exynos 5 dual core (not yet disclosed their operating frequency) + graphics Mali-T604 (1080p HD video acceleration by hardware and the API support DirectX 11, 1.1 and OpenGL ES), among its other features are:

  • 2GB of DRAM.
  • 16GB storage.
  • 100GB of storage “in the cloud”
  • WiFi.
  • Reader SD.
  • Two USB 2.0 ports.
  • HDMI output.
  • 6.5 hours of autonomy.
  • 0.8 “thick.
  • Weight: 1.13 Kg

The base model will have a suggested retail of $249, and Google will offer another variant additionally equipped with a 3G module for a price of $ 329.
