Google Apps for Business is awarded ISO 27001
Google Apps for business just get ISO 27001 certification, one of the most comprehensive Security standards and recognized. The award of this standard was conducted by an ISO accredited by the Dutch Accreditation Council member of International Accreditation Forum (IAF) and Ernst & Young CertifyPoint.
Although for an ordinary user may not exist is relevant these certifications, Google does allow a better way to convince companies to start using their systems, allowing the backup and data synchronization in the cloud.
Security remains one of the main concerns of the executives to use data in the cloud, to which were Feigenbaum, Google Enterpise safety director said that companies “are realizing that a company like Google can invest in security issues on a scale that many are not able to reach due to lack of resources. “
Google Apps also has certifications and SSAE 16/ISAE 3402 FISMA Certified Google Apps for governments.
