GPUs Quadro and FirePro professional applications tested

From the web FireUser recently inform us that Tom’s Hardware has updated its comparative graphics workstations (WorkStations) this year, which will guide many users interested in obtaining the best possible performance.

For those of Toms’Hardware test used a workstation based on the following configuration:

  • 2 CPUs AMD Opteron 4238 (6 cores Valencia “Bulldozer” running at 3.3GHz).
  • Cooler Noctua NH-2 U12DO.
  • ASUS Motherboard KCMA-D8
  • Kingston Memory 32GB DDR3-1333 ECC.
  • Case P280.
  • High Current Power Pro 850W.

This team tested the following graphics cards Nvidia Quadro and AMD FirePro :

  • Nvidia Quadro 400.
  • Nvidia Quadro 600.
  • Nvidia Quadro 2000.
  • Nvidia Quadro 4000.
  • Nvidia Quadro 5000.
  • AMD FirePro V3900.
  • AMD FirePro V4900.
  • AMD FirePro V5900.
  • AMD FirePro V7900.

Tests include the following business applications: Catia, Ensight, Lightwave, Maya, Pro / ENGINEER, SolidWorks, Siemens Teamcenter, Siemens NX, Cinebench 11.5, Luxmark 1.5, NQueens and GPU Caps Viewer. Without further ado here the results:
