Haswell-MB Intel microprocessors come from April to September 2013
A few weeks ago we learned that Intel plans to quickly replace its current microprocessors based on Ivy Bridge microarchitecture (DT/MB/ULV) by the new microprocessors based on future micro-architecture Haswell , as rumored, that decision has to do with the unpopularity of its microprocessors Ivy Bridge.
According to a leaked roadmap intel will Launch its new microprocessor-MB ivy bridge (CPU for laptops based on Ivy Bridge microarchitecture ) between April and September next year, being April release date most likely.
But Intel does not plan to stand by ready to take their new microprocessors Haswell, and also plans to launch new microprocessors Ivy Bridge-MB from October 2012 to March 2013, which offer slightly higher frequencies than current exponents of their current notebook product lines.
The new microprocessors that will make their appearance for those dates are:
- Core i7-3940XM (quad core at 3.0GHz).
- Core i7-3840QM (quad core at 2.8GHz).
- Core i7-3740QM (quad core at 2.7GHz).
By early 2013 we have the new CPUs:
- Core i7-3540M (3.0GHz dual core).
- Core i5-3380M (2.9GHz dual core).
- Core i5-3340M (2.7GHz dual core).
Besides Intel plans to release between January and March 2013 two new microprocessors Ivy Bridge-ULT for Ultrabooks:
- Core i7-3687U.
- Core i5-3437U.
The specifications of these new chips are still unknown, but may not be very attractive considering that its launch will be very close to the launch of future SoC for Ultrabooks Haswell-ULT.2013, CPU, Haswell, Haswell-MB, Haswell-ULT, intel, ivy bridge, Ivy Bridge-MB, Ivy Bridge-ULV, Launch, microprocessor, processor
