HiSilicon licensed PowerVR 6 Series GPUs and Mali-T658
From Xtreview report that HiSilicon, Chinese manufacturer has licensed arm SoCs for the latest GPUs from Imagination Technologies and ARM, which allows you to build ARM SoCs compatible with DirectX 11 graphics API.
HiSilicon, a company member of ARM Connected Community, has acquired licenses for the manufacture of future ARM soc based on the latest graphics architectures 6 Series PowerVR from Imagination Technologies and Mali T-658 ARM, both modern graphics architectures to support Microsoft DirectX API 11, which will enable ARM SoCs offer HiSilicon focused on devices with higher graphics requirements as smartphones and tablets with modern operating systems like Windows 8 RT.
So far only had licenses HiSilicon graphs Chinese manufacturer Vivante GPUs. In addition HiSilicon is a subsidiary of huawei (both recently launched K3V2 SoC ), so it is assumed that Huawei is one of the first companies to premiere an ARM SoC with PowerVR graphics 6 Series.
