How many “new Silicon Valley” in the world?

Silicon Valley, that valley of California where they are installed some of the largest companies in the world and a constant source of new ventures, was crowned the largest technology center. Anyone who wants to start a global technology venture evaluates install offices there.

The factors that make it big are varied, and attempts to imitate elsewhere have been many, so it is not unusual to find newspaper articles or politicians announcing “the next Silicon Valley” or “new Silicon Valley”. How many “new Silicon Valley” there? According to Slate , is 22.

At least that’s what the site has compiled based on citations in articles in English, although we are sure that if we would see many more languages considered more points on the map. In Latin America alone there are three: Chile, Argentina and Brazil.

Chances are that these points still appear later, though none of them has managed to become a “Silicon Valley”. Can you really create a replica? Or should we aim for something different?
