HP already has the first notebooks based on AMD Brazos 2.0
A month ago we warn that amd and was shipping the first units of its platform Brazos 2.0, intended for use in energy-efficient notebooks but decent performance, which is also associated with a low price.
The first offer is with E1-1200 with dual core CPU running at 1.4 GHz and graphics HD 7310 at 500MHz and 80 shaders. In addition, the machine comes with 2GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive, which moves the operating system Windows 7.
On the other hand, the second variant of the HP 655 is E2-1800 chip, 1.7 GHz core processor and integrated HD 7340 523MHz (680MHz scalable load), also with 80 shaders. This will be accompanied by 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive, along with some distribution of Linux operating system.
As we said, Brazos 2.0 is for use in low-cost notebooks, so HP will place the price of these devices between USD $ 460 and $ 500.
