HP already has the first notebooks based on AMD Brazos 2.0

A month ago we warn that and was shipping the first units of its platform Brazos 2.0, intended for use in energy-efficient notebooks but decent performance, which is also associated with a low price.

Now we see that is already ready for sale the first two portable market, with two variants of the HP 655 AMD using different platforms, both of 15.6 inches and weighing 2.45kg.

The first offer is with with dual core CPU running at 1.4 GHz and graphics HD 7310 at 500MHz and 80 shaders. In addition, the machine comes with 2GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive, which moves the operating system Windows 7.

On the other hand, the second variant of the HP 655 is chip, 1.7 GHz core processor and integrated HD 7340 523MHz (680MHz scalable load), also with 80 shaders. This will be accompanied by 4GB of RAM and a 500GB hard drive, along with some distribution of Linux operating system.

As we said, Brazos 2.0 is for use in low-cost notebooks, so HP will place the price of these devices between USD $ 460 and $ 500.
