HP says that the death of Windows XP could save the PC

The printer manufacturer believes the imminent disappearance of can do what Windows 8 could not, the industry. Analysts said Windows 8 PC sales affected when users could not adapt to their new interface design. According to the latest quarterly report from IDC (International Data Corporation), PC sales fell 14 percent last year.

Although the evolution of the notebook sector and the growing demand for tablets, may have played a role, blamed HP Windows 8 for this historic decline.

On the other hand, HP officials seem to think that the next update of Windows 8 will not be as important in the PC as scheduled for completion next year of support for Windows XP.

At a press conference, HP officials showed a slide that said ironically: “Bye XP, Hi HP.” It seems that HP sees a great opportunity to assume that the provision of replacement systems for XP could help increase their sales more than the same Windows 8, especially in the business sector, where 40 to 50 percent of business users still running Windows XP.
