IFA 2012: Toshiba notebooks in hybrid varieties, economic and 21:9
Toshiba showed at the IFA technology fair in Berlin a new tablet-ultrabook hybrid, the Satellite U925t that stands between the swivel screen Dell monitors and removable Samsung and HP because the Toshiba notebook can be opened all the way back and then slide the screen forward and so the keyboard cover.
The Satellite U925t runs with Windows 8, the processor is an Intel Core i5 and has a hard disk of 128 GB SSD. It also has an HDMI port, USB connectors and a 12.5-inch screen with Gorilla Glass protected.
Toshiba Satellite U845W
Another Toshiba notebooks introduced at IFA 2012 is the Satellite U845W, the first laptop with ultra-wide screen 21:9, which means a resolution of 1792 x 768 and which is intended for the consumption of movies and series.
The device weighs 1.58 pounds and can be a processor Intel Core i5 or i7 with a 500GB HDD and a 32GB SSD boot. It also has 6GB of DDR3 RAM, HDMI output and a 1.3 megapixel webcam.
Toshiba Satellite U945
Finally, the company also introduced the Satellite U945, a notebook of 1.81 kilograms which aims to be a low-end ultrabook for productivity and entertainment, with Intel Core i3 or i7, three USB ports and a 14-inch touchscreen which reaches 1366 x 768 pixels of resolution.
The design is similar to the previous model U845, but with a plastic structure with looking down the price of ultrabook to a figure similar to the notebooks.
