Intel Core i3-3220 vs AMD FX-4170
Missing a few days for the launch of the new AMD FX-Series microprocessors second generation “Vishera” , which according to the latest rumors make their appearance during the last two weeks of this month (October 2012), and as a prelude to the launch from Tom’s Hardware bring us a review of two microprocessors from intel and amd with price below $130.
The protagonists of this review are the microprocessors Intel core i3-3220 (U.S. $ 129) and AMD FX-4170 (U.S. $ 119), which were tested in their respective platforms equipped with 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3-1866 memory and a video card based on the AMD Radeon HD 7970 GPU 3GB. Without further ado, here are some of their test:
The AMD FX-4170 CPU has a 11.9% return on average higher by 4.2% applications and games lower compared to Intel Core i3-3220, which is a good result considering that the Intel CPU is priced 08.04 % higher than AMD, so the Tom’s Hardware replacements conclude that the FX-4170 based Vishera could offer a better option, depending on its launch price.
We recommend reviewing the full review on Tom’s Hardware.
