Intel Core i3 microprocessors 3rd generation desktop ready for its debut
Microprocessors intel Core i3 third generation “Ivy Bridge-MB” Notebooks debuted in late May this year , but its desktop version “Ivy Bridge-DT” has not yet been released .
From WCCF Tech report that these new chips are already on sale in China, which is an indication that may be available in the rest of the world in a few days or weeks.
The new core i3 microprocessors third generation (Core i3-3000 Series) for desktop are based on the core ivy bridge-dt (desktop chip based on the Ivy Bridge microarchitecture ) and have two x86 cores supported by technology HyperThreading (up to 4 processing threads) with integrated graphics Intel HD Graphics 4000 or HD Graphics 2500, depending on model.
The performance of these new chips is between 2.7 to 3.3% higher than the second-generation Core i3 “Sandy Bridge-DT” (Core i3-2000 Series), and therefore constitute a minimal improvement in performance per cycle (the same frequency), but if there are improvements to the graphics performance (between 20-30%).
