cut its earnings estimates for the third quarter, indicating that it expects to sell USD $ 13,200 million, compared to USD $1,600 million forecast earlier.

According to the company, the reduction is because their processors demand is weaker than expected, something he attributed to the economic problems, which would have reduced the demand for new PCs from companies.

The cut draws attention because PC makers seem to be reducing their purchases of chips orders right at the time where normally increase, because Christmas is coming and people tend to buy new equipment at this time.

The cause may have something to do with 8, which will be released in late October, and teams begin to be seen since November. Does that have doubts fabircantes selling computers with this operating system?
